Community service essay

                                          George w. Fowler High is where i did my community service . Working with teachers bu mainly making my school look better by assisting the janitors . The janitors work everyday , 2 janitors during the day and 3 at night. janitors clean throughout the school . Each janitor has their own responsibilities . One might work on cleaning classrooms , another might pick up the trash bins and sweep the floors . Janitors keep the school clean .

 George W. Fowler High School mission statement : " Fowler High recognizes that each student is an individual ; that all students are creative; that all students need to succeed. Therefore , Fowler high school respects the individual needs of students , forsters a caring and creative enviornment ; and emphasis the social , emotional,physical,intilectual development of each student."
The fowler mission statement is in relation to the janitors work because fowler would like to keepa caring inviorment and without janitors the high school would be dirty and the students wouldnt want to attend school.

Working with the janitors was a positive experience.Before doing my community service i was extremely lazy at my own home. The school really made me realize how much i love being in a clean envionments be much cleaner.Since community service i have been helping my mom clean the house how our house is sparkling clean.

centro bus

teachers and students are  getting upset with the centro law that high school students have to walk 2 miles. anything 2 miles and over dosent get a bus pass. this is making students late to school and in the winter its to cold to walk such a distance. changing the policy from 2 miles to 1 mile would help increasingly.

" as violence increases in our community" students should get safe passage back and forth.

After reading this article, i think the centro policy should change although it would cost money. kids will get safer passage, wont miss school from being sick. this would also solve a problem thats been around longer then 30 year.
